Hello and welcome to my blog!  My name is Lorelei and I am in high school.  I created this blog as a place to share and promote issues that I find important in today's crazy world.  It's also just a safe place for fun ideas and stories!  Be sure to subscribe so you never miss a post!

I've always loved writing, (I'm currently working on my first manuscript) so when the opportunity to create a blog came up, I jumped at the chance to do so.  I knew I could create a place where I could bring my talents together and maybe make a difference on the way.  And so The Butterfly Effect was born.  The title stems from the idea and metaphor that a butterfly flapping its wings can lead to a hurricane.  By voicing certain issues I am passionate about, I can create awareness and that could lead to change.  

I'm not going to lie, this blog is also a bit of a creative outlet for me-I want to be able to touch on a little bit of everything, from sharing my travels to pop culture to literature to fashion.  This blog is a place to explore small corners of the world.
